This saw frame has a strong steel frame that is adjustable for a variety of blade lengths (1-1/8″ to 5-1/2″) and tensions. The throat depth is approximately 3″ (77mm) . A large thumb screw makes opening and closing the blade holding clamps easy. The top of the frame has a tension spring to keep the frame from sliding completely freely. The handle is hardwood.
